MEPAP is the core curriculum required to earn NCCAP certification. It sets forth national standards for professional preparation in activity services. It is a total of 180 hours of curriculum and 180 hours of experiential/practical application that is delivered as a two-part course.
MEPAP Part 1 prepares students for the basic functions and duties of an activity professional: to design, deliver and evaluate activity services for older adults across the continuum of care.

MEPAP Part 2 prepares students to apply principles of management in their role as an Activity Professional: to provide service through leadership, using principle of planning, organizing, staffing, directing and controlling.

Classroom style in the Dallas-Fort Worth area, typically one day per week both Spring and Fall. Check the calendar for dates.
Virtual style in an online classroom, at a specific day/time.
Correspondence style through online discussions, reading, independent assignments and projects.
Each format requires completion of the 90 hours of practicum assignments done onsite at a senior living community.
